As we entered the 20th century, smart living became increasingly technological, with smartphones and tablets becoming indispensable controllers in our lives.
Through the Internet of Things (IoT), users can connect different devices via applications, flexibly control them, record personal data, and make life more convenient.

Participating teams need to design a mobile app with various functions to encourage seniors to use the Smart Learning Health Kit / Sport Kit daily, thereby encouraging them to exercise and maintain their health!

Preliminary judges
Thirty seniors were invited to evaluate the entries, and five teams each from the secondary school and primary school groups were selected to enter the final competition.
Work specifications
Brief introduction of the work (presentation no more than 15 pages)
A 5-minute introductory video (Participating teams must upload the video to the online platform, set the video to private, and include the video link in their presentation.)
Android application (apk file)
The organizers will also provide detailed guidance to help participating teams correctly revise the file names of their entries to ensure they meet the submission requirements.
Note : Participating teams can add different components and expansion kits to make the functionality more comprehensive.
Competition Rules
After registration is confirmed, each team will be assigned a team number, which will be used in all stages of the preliminary and final rounds.
Participants: The competition is divided into two groups: "Primary School Group" and "Secondary School Group".
Competition format: Team format ( 3 to 5 people per team), no limit on the number of teams per school.
The deadline for registration is April 15, 2025. Please have the teacher in charge fill out and submit the online registration form. Schools that successfully register will receive an email confirmation.
The competition is divided into "preliminary rounds" and "final rounds". Five teams each from secondary schools and primary schools will be selected from the preliminary rounds to participate in the final rounds.
The deadline for submitting entries for the preliminary round is May 16, 2025. Please submit your work as a zip file (please read the submission requirements carefully) by emailing it to support@ired.com.hk before the deadline, and clearly state the school name in the email subject and the zip file name.
Each participating team may submit only one entry. If a participating team changes its submitted entry, the organizer will use the last entry submitted before the deadline.
