2024 Match Review
As we entered the 20th century, smart living became increasingly technologically advanced, with smartphones and tablets becoming indispensable controllers in our lives. Through the Internet of Things (IoT), users can connect to different devices via applications, flexibly control them, record personal data, and make life more convenient.

Try your hand at becoming a mobile app designer!
This competition aims to encourage students to design health management mobile applications using the Smart Learning Suite - Smart Health kit, taking a holistic approach. Participants are required to think from others' perspectives, understanding the potential problems and needs of using mobile applications, and creating user-friendly and innovative applications . The competition focuses on cultivating students' creativity and design thinking, providing them with an opportunity to showcase their skills and talents . If you are interested in becoming a UI/UX designer, don't miss this competition.
We are honored to have a representative from the Government Information Technology Director's Office share their concepts for designing websites/mobile applications for seniors at this competition briefing, contributing to the building of inclusive and supportive cities. We cordially invite all teachers to attend the briefing to learn how to apply student projects in daily life.

邀請30位長者為作品進行評分,最後挑選中學組及小學組各5隊進入總決賽。
Brief introduction of the work (presentation no more than 15 pages)
A 5-minute introductory video (Participating teams must upload the video to the online platform, set the video to private, and include the video link in their presentation.)
Android applications (.aia and .apk files)
Note : Participating teams can add different components and expansion kits to make the functionality more comprehensive.
Competition Rules
Participants: The competition is divided into two groups: "Primary School Group" and "Secondary School Group".
Competition format: Team format ( 3 to 5 people per team), no limit on the number of teams per school.
The deadline for registration is March 31, 2024. Please have the teacher in charge fill out and submit the online registration form. Schools that successfully register will receive an email confirmation.
The competition is divided into "preliminary rounds" and "final rounds". Five teams each from secondary schools and primary schools will be selected from the preliminary rounds to participate in the final rounds.
The deadline for submitting entries for the preliminary round is May 31, 2024. Please submit your work as a zip file (please read the submission requirements carefully) by emailing it to support@ired.com.hk before the deadline, and clearly state the school name in the email subject and the zip file name.
Each participating team may submit only one entry. If a participating team changes its submitted entry, the organizer will use the last entry submitted before the deadline.

Second stage
After selection by a professional judging panel, the final 10 student teams were invited to participate in the final judging and awards ceremony.
